Earth has not anything to show more fair:
পৃথিবীতে আর কিছু নেই যা এত সুন্দর হতে পারে;
Dull would he be of soul who could pass by
যে ব্যক্তি এটি উপেক্ষা করতে পারে, তার আত্মা সত্যিই নিস্তেজ।
A sight so touching in its majesty:
এক মহিমান্বিত দৃশ্য, হৃদয়কে স্পর্শ করে যা!
This City now doth, like a garment, wear
এই শহর এখন যেন একটি পোশাকের মতো
The beauty of the morning; silent, bare,
সকালের সৌন্দর্যে আবৃত; শান্ত, শূন্য,
Ships, towers, domes, theatres, and temples lie
জাহাজ, মিনার, গম্বুজ, নাট্যশালা এবং মন্দির
Open unto the fields, and to the sky;
উন্মুক্ত মাঠ এবং আকাশের নিচে শুয়ে আছে;
All bright and glittering in the smokeless air.
ধোঁয়াহীন বাতাসে ঝলমল করছে সবকিছু।
Never did sun more beautifully steep
কখনো সূর্য এত সুন্দরভাবে আলো ছড়ায়নি
In his first splendour, valley, rock, or hill;
তার প্রথম কিরণে, উপত্যকা, শিলা বা পাহাড়ের ওপর;
Ne'er saw I, never felt, a calm so deep!
আমি কখনো দেখিনি, অনুভব করিনি এত গভীর প্রশান্তি!
The river glideth at his own sweet will:
নদী বয়ে চলে তার নিজস্ব মিষ্টি ইচ্ছায়;
Dear God! the very houses seem asleep;
প্রিয় ঈশ্বর! ঘরবাড়িগুলো পর্যন্ত যেন নিদ্রামগ্ন;
And all that mighty heart is lying still!
এবং সেই মহৎ হৃদয় সম্পূর্ণ নিস্তব্ধ হয়ে আছে!
